If you have not received an email with a decision regarding your account after 5 business days, please contact ElectronicAttorneyClientMail@doc.mo.gov at the Missouri Department of Corrections.
After submitting your registration, you should receive an email confirming that your account request is under review. If you did not receive this email, your email address may have been entered incorrectly during registration. Please contact ElectronicAttorneyClientMail@doc.mo.gov to verify your email address and have it updated if necessary.
Each document is available for 30 days at which time it is deleted and the individual who uploaded the document will receive an email. The individual will also receive an email after 15 days, if the document has not been viewed by the client.

Any licensed attorney or their authorized representative can submit a request for an account. An authorized representative can be a paralegal or non-lawyer investigative personnel designated by the attorney.
Attorneys are responsible for notifying Secure.Li when an authorized representative’s account needs to be inactivated.
You will need to submit a support ticket on the Secure.Li website as the Missouri Department of Corrections does not have access. You can also refer to the Missouri Department of Corrections website at www.doc.mo.gov.
For security purposes, Secure.li accounts are automatically deactivated after 30 days of inactivity. If your account has been deactivated, you can reactivate it by resetting your password.
You can reactivate your account by resetting your password, using the "Forgot Password" form on the Secure.li website.
Uploading Documents
If your documents were successfully uploaded to Secure.li, you will receive an email confirmation following the upload.
When uploading documents, you must provide your client's DOC ID. Once provided, Secure.li will auto-populate the client's name and location into the correct fields for your verification before the document is uploaded.
PDFs are the only accepted document format.
Yes, when uploading documents, select the first document by left-clicking the file, then hold the control key (Ctrl) down and select additional documents as needed.
You will need to reupload the document and notify the client you have sent them a document(s). Documents will be automatically deleted after 30 days regardless if the document has been viewed or not.
The maximum file size that can be uploaded at one time is 100MB however attorneys can do multiple uploads. Attorneys can upload multiple PDF documents during one upload but overall the size still needs to be less than 100MB. Based on internet connectivity speeds, larger files may take longer to upload.
No. If you have any issues with uploaded documents, you will need to submit a support ticket on the Secure.Li website as the Missouri Department of Corrections does not have access.
No. Secure.li does not currently provide an electronic-signature feature or a way for a client to return a signed document through the system. The document can be uploaded through Secure.li and printed for the client at the correctional facility.
For guidance on how to have the signed document returned, please contact the Missouri Department of Corrections at ElectronicAttorneyClientMail@doc.mo.gov, as the process may vary depending on the facility and type of document.
Secure.li does not currently have a separate note or instructions field. If you need to provide additional information or instructions to your client, you can include a cover page with the document or upload a separate PDF containing the instructions.
